❤️- Well, I finally have a mustache now! It never fails to give me gender euphoria every time I look in the mirror. The weather’s getting colder here now too, and the way my breath fogs up reminds me of dragon breath (I’m transdragon). There’s also the fact that I’m trying to put more consistent effort into brushing my teeth and flossing (the way that someone without clinical depression would do) and it gives me transhappy euphoria.

🧡- I don’t know. A lot of my labels are quite tame compared to the rest of the community. I guess transanimalabuser? I have a clinical phobia of animals based on a bad experience, and I cope with them being scary by imagining hurting them and being scary to them back. The transharmful community lets me express the resulting “violent” side of me. But I know antis wouldn’t see that nuance. Maybe also transromeric too. Due to accusations of “internalized homophobia” and “promoting conversion therapy” and “just wanting straight privilege”. I know that I personally got super irrationally angry at transorientations during my time as an anti, before I joined the community and learned more about them. But I just feel happier and more comfortable thinking of myself as a straight man.

💚- I found the greater radqueer and transid community through the transage community. My age dysphoria got too intense to handle, and I started looking for ways to alleviate it. Why I felt the way I did. I found the term agefluid, and it felt more correct than anything had yet. I looked into the rest of the radqueer community and found some other stuff that I connected to. What followed was a long period of denial and flip-flopping between both communities. But I think I’m here to stay now.

💙- I’m transrobot and transautomaton, and when I get my phalloplasty I want to tattoo an open control panel full of wires over the scar on my arm. I also might buy more shiny silver clothes (I have one pair of silver shorts, but it’s not enough). I definitely want to transition for transhappy, transhopeful, and nulladdict. I also want to transition for nullpara (I have nothing against paraphiles, but my own causes me distress). There are a bunch of stuff I really want to transition for, but don’t know how, like transhaunteddoll and scentian. I guess I could transition for transromeric by getting a girlfriend. Like that will ever happen.

These are a collection of polished doodles from the last few days. I really liked the shape-y animals i could assign each charachter. Here are mostly Valjean and Javert, but Cosette's design is on here too!!! I assigned them the animals purely based on vibe and certain connections the brick makes. I also have a few designs for les amis and the thenardiers but i'm kinda working on those.... I have to admit if the Amis weren't such special charachters they would all have been beavers (barricade haha get it? Get it??) so:

This is gonna sound pessimistic, but I always found Chloe not reacting at all to Joyce dying...pretty weird tbh. I haven't read the comics so I don't know what happened, but it's something that really bothers me. Cause after Lis2/Bae the only family she has left is David and it's a little crazy that Chloe and had to lose borh William and Joyce in order to grow as a person. Idk if this makes sense at all, but it's something I think about at all the time Thoughts?

well, first off, please dont take the comics as a “Canon” continuation of the sacrifice arcadia bay ending. it has the same level of canon as any old fanfiction does, the only difference is that the comics are officially licensed. it’s a HUGE common misconception i see almost anytime i see someone talk about them.

and secondly, i would say chloe very much does react at the idea of joyce’s death.

but i guess you could’ve meant when after max makes the decision to sacrifice arcadia bay. and in that case i would say the answer to that then is simply that chloe was respecting and supporting max and her decision.

i mean, i feel like even someone as emotional as chloe could tell that it wasnt the right time to fall to the ground crying about how her mom was going to die. she knew max needed her support in that moment, and chloe was ready to momentarily push away her own emotional turmoil to give that support to max.

(something something. chloe is full of love. something something. parallels. something something. topic for another time.)

especially when they get to the point where theyre driving off from the destroyed town— chloe has accepted it, even when max clearly isn’t as sure of herself as chloe is of her.

she trusts max to have made the right choice, and even if she wasn’t so sure about it, it’s not like she couldve done anything about it.

i mean maybe she couldve yelled, screamed, and begged max to rewind and make a different choice, but whether you think she trusted max in those moments or not— i feel like chloe knew there wasnt any going back on it.

i think that specifically really shows when chloe says max is the only one who can make the decision of who to sacrifice. both in a literal sense and in a “i’ll follow you in either choice you make.” sense.

honestly i think chloe dropping any doubt she couldve had in that moment just to support max is literally the most in-character thing she could’ve ever done in that scene.

12. How much does your OC's background and origin affect their approach to relationships? Are there specific insecurities or preferences that lead on from their past?

So much; Flatline was a foster kid, which made him very protective of both himself and the people around him, but he also eventually got adopted into an incredibly large family, so he picked up a lot of odd and contradicting habits. He's never had a solid relationship, so he has a very casual attitude towards dating, but he gets very protective of anyone he considers to be "his" (which extends to his entire team, whether they like it or not). Foster care and a massive family taught him how to read the people around him really well and react accordingly, so he gets along with almost everyone, to the point where he has a reputation of being a serial flirt, but he has an ice-cold heart buried deep, hidden from everyone (and sometimes himself)

16. Is there a relationship between characters in another setting that particularly inspired you? What is it about this portrayal that you enjoy?

Honestly, @samuelroukin's portrayal of Soap and Gaz in the first few chapters of tdhmt, I loved their easy camaraderie and casual dynamic. When I originally made Flatline, I really struggled to put him into any relationship dynamic, but I hadn't considered a FWB situation, which fits him and his trauma perfectly (for now at least)

18. Do you have specific music that makes you think about your OCs relationship?

Flatline is a good ol' USAmerican southern boy, so he gravitates towards country/folk music. Parachute by Chris Stapleton and Wait in the Truck by HARDY and Lainey Wilson are the two songs that I use to get a good grasp on how he views relationships and his role in them

27. Is there a particular "trope" for relationships that you especially enjoy - e.g. enemies to lovers etc - and is this something that you set out intending to explore?

I have so many tropes that I enjoy but I didn't initially set out to fit Flatline into any of them. Slowly, though, he started to fall into something of a corruption arc, except in this case he's already corrupted and he just needs someone to tell him that it's okay

Gallerian is one of the kindest dorm leaders I could ever meet. We agree on so much stuff already, so it makes sense that I would call him one of my dear friends! (We're even called, as Winston puts it, two peas in a pod!)

When we have time outside of school and dorm activities, I always make sure to invite him to have some tea. Then, we’ll just chat about anything. Honestly, if we didn't have responsibilities, I'm sure we might end up talking until the sun goes down.

Your art style is cool. How did you come up with it?

I have mentioned b4 that i take a lot of inspiration from early 2000s cartoon artist and other online artist with inspo from western media (eg some like kimquatz, farvannn, delaneyjanuzzi)

with many of the characters i also stylize them based on the character that they are twisted from. Chenya is the most obvious case as its more subtle with other characters

sometimes i base the way i stylize them on characters (mostly from western cartoons :p) that have a similar archetype or give similar vibes, sometimes ill base it on my own perception of a character, sometimes ill use my fav drawing tropes, ill base the way i stylize characters on things thats related to their lore (ie the bat wings hair and the little connecting nose to eyebrow to mimic medieval drawings for lillia)

sometimes ill base my takes on characters on other peoples stylizations of characters.

with some characters the shapes i use are related to symbols that they are associated with. of course i use shape language a lot, much of it also depends on clothes, even characters with similar body types can give off completely different vibes from small changes between characteristics and different clothes

idk if u also are asking about coloring but i've recently been using this technique (u probably saw me mention this in the shroud drawings) for fully colored stuff, i use tons of different guache and charcoal brushes and shape the blurbs into whatver the drawing is. i really like seeing random colors used on a single colored object but i do not know how those artist are doing that so im just trying to mimic it :'J. I also really like when the drawing come out looking a bit rough n sketchy, it just scratches my brain :>
